Summer Fabric, Re-engineered

Linen is the classic summer fabric for a reason. It breathes. It has character. But its character can be a liability—wrinkling if you look at it, lacking structure. The techwear approach isn't to discard the material, but to re-engineer its flaws. Outlier's Injected Linen pants are a primary example. By weaving linen with a nylon micro-mesh, they create a fabric with the open, airy feel of linen but with added structure, durability, and wrinkle resistance. It’s an observation, not an invention: the best performance is often just the removal of a long-accepted annoyance.
